Anti bullying final Evaluation

I have now finished creating my games and have put them on the other blog with my partner Mohad. Numair and Hashim did theirs aswell but I am not sure about Abdul Rahman and Ahmed. I made some normal games for about 7 or 8 year olds and to me they are all fun and I think they will teach the kids a little bit about not to bully. I tried making the game as realistic as possible. I have also made some other games and they are below this blog. Abdul Rahman has made a star skecth which is really good. I think I mad all the games well but I wish I could improve the part which you have to fight in every game. Maybe I could find a different site next time or I can make a maze with one crystal as home and if you take a wrong turn you have to fight the bad guys. I did every thing according to plan but I think if we found other sites it might have been better. The first hardest part was to find a site which we did after we looked through about 15 sites. The second was to find a different site but that failed so we didn't solve that. The people who commented said I did a great job on all the topics. I think I did a great job and so did the other people in class. I think the impact on the other people will be good too and they will learn about telling the teacher about bulling instead of listening to them or to stand up to them.All in all I think all the work the group and I did was good and deserve a 6 or 7.

Week 4: We made our games and were finalizing them.

Design Specification

I have made at least three designs for my bully design. The first one was on sploder. com, I made the main character and he has to defeat the bullies which is like standing up to the bullies. The second one is where you have to either avoid the monsters and collect the crystals or beat the monsters and collect the crystals. That is like the crystals are the teachers and they will stop the bullies. The last one is when your a ship and you have to work with your friend to stop the bullies. Also you can get help by touching your friends in bubbles. Numair, Hashim, Ahmed, Mohad, and Abdul Rahman share an account so we made many games.

Investigation game design anti-bulling campaign

Our campaign is to do with do with game designing. We made a game on spolder.com. They were three types of games and we chose the platform creator whle Numair and Hashim chose the Shooting creator. The game we made is a kid beating up the bullies so they don't bully anymore. To play this game you have to be 7 or up. Abdul Rahman and Ahmed are also working on a game but on a different site. In the game you start with a sword and have to defeat 6 bullyies and collect other weapons. The weapons will help you destroy the bully. The game is not that violent but it is alot of fun. The game is a bit difficult so you can have a little bit trouble defeating them . The good thing bout the game is you can beat the bully. The bad thing is that it might make the person think you have to kill bullies and you can't open doors and things like that.

What is bullying?

Bullying is when 

you purposely harm to other people using verbal harrasment, physical assult, or other things related like manipulation.

Physical bullying means:


• Hitting, kicking, or pushing someone...or even just threatening to do it
  
• Stealing, hiding or ruining someone's things
  
• Making someone do things he or she don't want to do

Verbal bullying 

means:


• Name-calling
• Teasing
• Insulting

Relationship bullying means:


• Refusing to talk to someone
• Spreading lies or rumors about someone
• Making someone do things he or she doesn't want to do

Lots of people around the world do these things maybe because they were bullied or may they ar

e mad or even just for fun but this is still no reason for bullying. I have NEVER bullied anyone in 

my  life so I think you should stop bullying if you do so everyone can be happy. 

What to do when you are being bullied?

You should tell an adult to stop the bully or you can stand up to  the bully and tell him or her to stop bullying you or your freind can help you.

iweb Final Evaluation

I have completed my iweb. I put all the information I know about tornadoes, fun facts, videos, images, and a reference page. I think my iweb looks nice in all. My pages talk about different things. I think I could improve my iweb if I could find and add some games. I have five pages. The home page tells about all types of tornadoes in general. The second page has videoes on tornadoes each video has a small text telling what the video is about. The third page is full of different pictures of tornadoes, I was thinking of adding a game but I couldn't find the embedding code. The fourth page is full of many fun facts about tornadoes. The last page s a reference page. I used all different fonts so the pages look nicer and I also put a map. In the reference page I put some sites that I used to find the information. Also I have a table of contents to show what my site is going to talk about. All in all I think my iweb is good. The bad part was that there was something wrong with the system so I could not embed games. I changed my plan a little bit.

1.I changed my layout a little the homepage does not have pics around the border of the homepage and it does not have a map. Other than that yes it fits the plan.
2. The topic I researched was tornadoes and I researched on google and wikipedia for information on tornadoes for the last two days. I also made my iweb
3. It has three different colors. The background is black, the title is red, and the text is white. The pictures are all different
4. No, because I don't know how to make other pages.
5. IWeb has many different features like copy and pasting, adding links, changing font size and color, and other fasinating features. Everything is working fine but I can't find how to make a new page or a second page.

design cycle

The design cycle is used in schools which use the MYP program. The design cycle has for parts and each one is different from the other. The first part is Investigating were you find the problem of the project and check the other things about it. The second part is plan. In plan you have to find the solution to the problem or you can make a solution to the problem. In the third part create you follow the plan, use appropriate techniques and equipment, and create the solution. The last part is to evaluate thats when you reflect on what you did in the project and write what you can do better.

Tornadoes

A tornado is a violently rotating column of air, in contact with the ground, either pendant from a cumuli form cloud or underneath a cumuli form cloud. It is usually seen as a funnel cloud and a tornado touches both the floor and the surface of the cloud. Its name comes from a Spanish word and a Latin word.

Task

There are two types of communication they are synchronous and asynchronous. Synchronous is when two communications work at the same time ans asynchronous is when a single communication is working by itself. A phone is a synchronous communication because you can only talk to more than one person at the same time. Anothr type of synchronous is a Msn messanger is an because three people can talk all at once. We use this for telling the news and talking to each other. We can even tell other people about emergences and thing s like that.

A type of asynchronous is email because you usually send the mail to one person and it is used in business or work like banking. We use it for work or when you want to talk to someone one on one and other things that relate to it.

Investigation about sites

At fast cars UK I like the way the way they organized the site and that they put pictures for each paragraph and the way they went straight to the point. Also I the text, layout, and color scheme were all good. Compared to other sites the features are the same. The buttons are better and the color was better an other sites I've seen. This is an example of a good website

Natural Disasters are disasters caused by nature tornadoes, and earthquakes. These disasters are very harmful and may kill people. They don't happen alot but must be treated correctly or something bad will happen.

This is an example of a bad site. It is called hrodc and it is bad because the information is in one big page with no picture and the color scheme and it is not good. Also it has lots of buttons which I can use in my website when I make it. It has good grammer and spelling.

Why is communication so important during an emergency

It is important because it can save human lives for example by telling them an earthquake is headed to their country so they will be prepared or they can move to a different country. The communication devices for this EMERGENCY is cell phone, phone, black berry.

During the Katrina hurricane Katrina used satellite communications.

During an EMERGENCY it is essential to tell which disaster is headed for the country and if you know any advice to help survive the earthquake then tell the people.

Information needed to know before the disaster is what is the disaster. What can we do to protect ourselves and when is it coming and going.

They are many ways you can communicate on the computer. Some of them are msn messenger, yahoo messenger, sykpe, and other chat boxes.
